initiative for community development (RYIC) Started Early this year 2015 as
Community based organization (CBO) By
MUMBERE GODIOUS who had always shared his interest with his Elder brother ISINGOMA JOHN Of the deplorable state of the youth in his community of kanyaste parish-kyondo sub-county kasese district-western Uganda.these among them include youth loitering because of the increasing unemployment,civil wars that occurred in the community that left many of them helpless,Erratic climate change associated with landslides,floods causing destruction of both Property and lives.

With this
therefore,Mr.Godious and John decided to meet his brothers and classmates and
shared his vision of forming a union project community based organization that
can bring the youth together increase their voices to the community and
advocate for their rights to the government,civil society organization (cso`s)
and developing partners across the world.
PREAMBLE.Rural youth initiative for community development (RYIC) Was then introduced to the committed
youth who showed interest to the concept and seconded it to ope rationalize,it
was then formed with the following fundamentals,

people through skills.
VISION:
“YOUTH achieving
their livelihood options with ease”
CORE VALUES:
Unique,transparency
and hospitable to partners.
SLOGAN:
“Empowering youth for
tomorrow”
Goal:
To sensitize the youth in
rural communities on how to eradicate poverty.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
To promote youth
skills and talents.
TO promote health and
sanitation
To reduce on
household expenditure on vegetables through integrated farming skills.
To develop rural
communities through income generated activities.
